MAY 2006 M. I. HUMMEL MAIL AUCTION

We are providing you with the option to reduce any mint “item” with a minimum bid below $499.00 by 10%,

any mint “item” with a minimum bid over $500.00 by 15%,

and any “non-mint” item (MI Hummel or non-MI Hummel) by 20%.

You must check the appropriate box on the bid sheet. This reduction will be solely at our pleasure and result in a direct deduction in our commission. Consignors will be credited with the non-reduced bid amounts. Please note the many minimum bid reductions.

May 2006 Guidelines For Auction Buyers Monthly M.I. Hummel 16 Day Mail Auction

The "Hummel" Collector's Club and Dorothy Dous have combined their expertise and facilities to provide a unique monthly 16 day mail auction consisting of a minimum of 2,500 M.I. HUMMEL and Goebel items including crowns, full bees, large and small stylized bees, three line marks and trademarks 5, 6 and 7 items plus rare and hard to find pieces. If you are interested in buying through our auction, we would like to share the following with you:

1. The auction accepts bids from the 1st day of each month to 12 midnight (E.S.T.) on the 16th day of each month.

2. We have examined and blacklighted each item and guarantee bidders that every item absent any notation in the "Remarks" column is in "mint" condition. Not responsible for typographical and or computer errors.

3. We have clearly identified all items that are crazed, or otherwise not in mint condition, and or of any other imperfections.

4. We guarantee bidders total satisfaction and will accept any returned item preceded by telephone confirmation within five days of receipt for any reason. No questions asked. The initials under the base must not be removed. Refunds will be made by business check net of shipping charges.

5. Successful bidders paying by check will be notified by mail or called if bidder includes telephone number. Bidder's MasterCard, Visa and Discover credit card accounts will be charged as per their instructions.

6. Checks and money orders should be made payable to Dorothy Dous.

7. We have allotted space for non-M.I. Hummel (Goebel) items including but not limited to pieces signed and or incised as BYJ, DIS, HA, Hol, Kau, KRU, NA, ROCK, ROB, SPO, SCH, STAE, TRI also Friar Tuck, Co-Boys, Red Heads, holy items, bookends, wall plaques, vases, ashtrays, animals, etc., and anything else produced by Goebel and from time to time other items such as Precious Moments, Lenox, Lladro, Royal Doulton, Royal Copenhagen, Schmid, etc.

8. Buyers do not have to call each month for the new auction list, as a list will be automatically sent however if we have not received a successful bid within six months your name will be removed from our mailing.

9. Buyers will be charged $7.50 for the first item, and $3.00 each additional, for shipping and insurance. PA residents must add 6% sales tax.
